Meet Riley

I am originally from Arkansas (home of real cheese dip and the Buffalo National River), where I grew up as an only child until I was fourteen! I wasn’t raised in the church, but I did attend a summer camp where I heard the gospel. It was at Kanakuk that I surrendered my life to the Lord. While I wish I could say it was smooth from that point forward, that wasn’t the case. After a long season of habitual sin, the Lord captured my attention once again, and our intimate relationship began to deepen. God used many women to disciple me, and through them, He revealed my heart for ministry. I began feeling a tug toward ministry in junior high but had no idea what God had in store for me.

I am a graduate of Arkansas State University (Wolves Up!), The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, the Watermark Institute, and (soon-to-be) Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Before moving to Dallas, I spent six years working in college ministry, discipling college-aged women. For many years now, God has grown my heart for discipleship, biblical literacy, and seeing the Great Commission (Matthew 28:16–20) fulfilled.

I love all things outer space (aspiring astronaut here!), the Dallas Mavericks (Luka fan for life), reruns of Survivor, floating down the Buffalo River, and sour candy!
