Meet Brooke
I grew up in Longview, TX, where my parents introduced me to Christ as a child. I lived a lot of my teenage years one foot in the world and one foot out, which continued when I went to Texas A&M University for college.
After moving to Dallas in the early 2000s, a friend invited me to Watermark, and my heart for the gospel was opened like it hadn’t been in the past. A fire was lit in me in 2006 when I took my first mission trip to Brazil, which began the process of helping me to connect the dots of the God I had known in my childhood to the God who truly holds the whole world in His hands.
J.P. and I have been married since 2013, and we have two daughters (Logan and Norah) and a son (Hudson) who bring us such joy! I could eat Tex-Mex 7 days a week, get a big smile on my face the opening weekend of college football (Gig ‘Em!), and feel at home in a developing nation helping locals understand how the God of the universe loves them and wants a relationship with them.
