Meet Phebie

Hey! I’m Phebie. I was born in Tampa, FL. I grew up in Wichita, KS, due to my father being in the Airforce and stationed at McConnell AFB. So, I guess I would be considered a “Airforce brat”.

I am the only girl out of 4 siblings. Yes! I am the apple of their eye. Wink wink. Growing up I was what you would consider “the pillar” of my family, a strong, upright structural support. I took that to heart, trying to be everything for everyone. I’ve learned that excessive overloading to a structurally compromised column that sits on an unstable foundation will eventually collapse. This in turn resulted in my people pleasing tendencies. God showed me that it is impossible to be everything for everyone, and how it divides your heart away from Him but that we should take everything to Him (Matthew 11:28).

I graduated from Wichita State University with a bachelor’s degree in international business, and minor in management and dance. In my time at college is where I met a couple of friends who invited me to church, which led me to give my life to Christ. Prior to joining staff at Watermark South Dallas, I was a Flight Attendant for Spirit Airlines for 7 years, until May 2nd, 2026 when the airline decided to close its doors. During this season of my life, I’m learning what seems like a setback is really a step forward with God or divine intervention which led me to full-time ministry.

You can find me in a YMCA trying to gain a new pr on my lifts, walking the Trinty trail, trying out a dance class with friends, or frequenting a coffee shop. I love to dance and sing, and I have a heart for worship.
