Meet John

I grew up in Deer Park, TX which is a suburb outside of Houston. My family (Dad, Mom, and Sister) started going to a small Southern Baptist church when I was in 6th grade. It was at that church when I heard the gospel of Jesus Christ and received the grace of God. God used some godly men in my life who discipled me, taught me how to truly abide in Christ, and showed me how to live according to the Scriptures in a way that brings glory to Christ.

After graduating from Texas Tech University in 2021, I spent a year at the Kanakuk Institute before moving to Dallas to serve on staff with KLIFE Ministries. Currently, I’m pursuing a Master of Divinity at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Second to receiving the grace of God, the best decision I've ever made was marrying my wife, Kristen. We are raising our son Johnny who will be a future Red Raider or Auburn Tiger. I love all things Houston (Astros, Rockets, etc.), enjoy playing golf, and watching the office. My aim is to enjoy the life God has given us whilst sharing the gospel with those in need of the grace of God.
