Meet Emily

I was raised in Shreveport, LA with two amazing parents and three siblings. I lived in Louisiana for most of my life until I moved to Fayetteville, AR to attend the University of Arkansas to study Human Development and Family Science (WOO PIG!).

Growing up, my family and I spent our summers at Pine Cove’s family camp. Pine Cove holds a special place in my heart because this is where I first understood the Gospel, surrendered my life to Christ, spent my summers in college on summer staff, and met my husband! The Lord used Pine Cove to deepen my love for him and marriage & family ministry as a whole.

Once I graduated college, I moved to Dallas to be a part of the Watermark Institute on the College team! During the Institute, I had the joy of joining staff on the Marriage & Family team—a testament to the Lord’s hand in it all! I could go on and on about the Lord’s faithfulness in my time in the Institute.

After the Institute ended, I married my camp crush, Andy, and marriage has been the sweetest gift! I deeply love my life in Dallas, including role on staff as the Premarried Assistant getting to see couples learn God’s design for marriage!
