Meet Parker

I spent my early childhood in Denver, Colorado, before moving to Allen, Texas, where I graduated high school. I was blessed to grow up in an environment where walking with God was role modeled for me daily, both by my family and by my community, but it took me a while to realize for myself that being a Christian means actively pursuing a relationship with Christ as opposed to completing a checklist. Gracefully, God used my sin in high school to help me see that I couldn’t save myself, and my relationship with the Lord was radically transformed as I began to experience true freedom and joy in Jesus.

While at the University of Oklahoma, God surrounded me with believers who showed me what real community looks like, and I discovered the passion God put on my heart to help people know and feel known by others and to help the local church fulfill its calling to serve the community. God ultimately opened a door on staff at Watermark for me to do just that, and I am grateful for the opportunity to come alongside other believers and do Kingdom work here in Dallas.
